How UAE wholesalers compare brass angle valves

A quotation checklist covering alloy, cartridge, thread, finish, leakage testing and packing.

By Gulf Sanitary

Guide scope

This is a B2B buying guide, not a conformity certificate or a substitute for importer and authority review of the exact SKU.

Start with construction, not finish

Two valves can look identical and carry different body alloys, cartridges and machined dimensions. Ask suppliers to identify the quoted model and material basis before comparing chrome or PVD finishes.

Make the thread explicit

Write the inlet and outlet sizes and thread standard on every RFQ line. Approve a drawing or physical reference so a familiar-looking thread does not become a site-level mismatch.

Compare test evidence by model

A generic laboratory logo is not enough. Check the report identity, model coverage, test method, sample basis and applicant. Market approval may be held by the importer and must be mapped before shipment.

Turn the guide into an RFQ.

Send the market, quantity, reference product, specification and required documents. We will turn them into a quotation-ready question list.

Request a quotation

Structured RFQ

Send the requirement, not just a product name.

The clearer the specification, destination and buyer role, the more comparable the quotation.

Submitting an enquiry does not confirm availability, approval or lead time.

This creates an email draft for you to review before sending.

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you send the enquiry.

Are these photos of the exact quoted SKU?

No. They explain installation, inspection or buying context. Current model photos, drawings, samples and applicable reports should accompany the quotation.

What should I send for a comparable quotation?

Send the destination, quantity, buyer role, size, material, finish, set contents and documents you need.

How are approval, stock and lead time confirmed?

They are checked against the selected SKU, applicant, destination and commercial terms before any commitment.

What happens after the RFQ is received?

Specification gaps are clarified first so product, evidence, packing and logistics can be compared on the same basis.

Can I send a BOQ, drawing or reference photo?

Yes. Email the files to [email protected] with the destination market and expected quantity.

Can samples and packaging be approved before production?

Yes. The sample, label artwork, carton marks and packing method can be recorded as approval points before mass production.

Who gives the final confirmation on market compliance?

The buyer or importer and the relevant approval authority make the final determination. We help organize model-linked documents and do not describe a product as approved until that status is confirmed.

Can different products share one shipment?

Often yes, subject to carton, pallet, label, destination and loading controls. The workable mix is confirmed against quantities and packing data.

What can change the final price or lead time?

Alloy, finish, packaging, MOQ, documentation, sample approval and the shipping schedule can all affect the final commercial offer.
